Information we collect

Brainware LLC respects your privacy. We collect and retain only the information needed to provide services, support customers, and understand product usage.

  • Account information, including your name and email address.
  • Information you send to us by email or other support channels.
  • Information necessary to track product purchases, including your account name and a unique device identifier where applicable.
  • Anonymous usage statistics for our websites, apps, APIs, and software.

Third-party services

We use third parties to distribute apps, process payments, and provide related services. Those organizations may collect and use information as part of their own services. Brainware LLC may have access to some of that information, and its use is also governed by the applicable third-party privacy policies.

How we use information

  • To provide customer support.
  • To verify purchasing status and account access.
  • To provide new-account credits and prevent repeated claims or misuse of those credits.
  • To improve our website, apps, APIs, and software.

Account deletion and retention

You may delete your WorldTides account from the account settings page. Deletion permanently disables account access, invalidates the associated API key, and prevents applications from making further requests with that key.

When an account is deleted, we retain its email address to prevent future registration and repeated claims or misuse of new-account credits. We process this information based on our legitimate interests in preventing fraud and abuse and protecting the Services, subject to applicable law. We use the retained email address only for account eligibility, abuse prevention, security, legal compliance, and the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. We do not use it for marketing or routine service communications and will contact a deleted account at that address only when reasonably necessary for legal or security reasons. We retain it while reasonably necessary to enforce new-account credit eligibility and protect the Services from repeated-account abuse.

We may retain transaction, accounting, security, and service records for as long as reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services. Information that is no longer needed for these purposes will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our retention practices.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. These rights may be subject to exceptions provided by law.

You may contact us through the contact page to exercise a privacy right or ask about our retention of information associated with a deleted account. We will review requests in accordance with applicable law, including objections to information retained for abuse prevention.

When information may be shared

We share personal information only when we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brainware LLC, our users, or the public as required or permitted by law.

Policy changes

We may update this privacy policy in the future. Changes will be communicated through this website, and older versions may be retained for reference.
